ABOUT WATERLOO SCHOOLS IB DP

Students enjoy food
Welcome,

Waterloo is extremely proud to be the location for Iowa's first all-district IB program. Our two high schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that both schools believe is important for our students.

Through this program, we can guarantee that students will be able to write across the curriculum. When students complete the IB diploma program, we have found they are better prepared for college because they have learned time management, discussion skills, and are better writers.

We welcome questions and would invite you to visit our classrooms to see the great work that is taking place.

Sincerely,

Coordinator of Secondary Curriculum & Advanced Programs
